You can eat wonderful Momiji fried cakes here! Momiji cake is a famous cake in Miyajima here! Everyone eats here! Basically it is just a cake but you can eat fried one here. It’s super delicious. I highly recommend clusters cream Momiji. Super delicious. You buy a ticket on ticket machine first and wait for your turn to take out with number! You can’t wait to take it out for sure!!! Enjoy!!!

We had fried maple here.A family member who had taken a different action purchased it, but inside the store there was a crowd of people buying meal tickets (fried maple) at a ticket vending machine and people receiving freshly made products, and the popularity is high. I knowThe deep-fried maple was a bit oily because it was not freshly made since time had passed.After all it was disappointing that the fresh heat was delicious.

There are four flavors of fried steamed buns. Cheese, red beans, cream, lemon. Fried breaded bread. Crisp in the outer skin. It tastes a bit salty and crispy. We bought four flavors each. Four are delicious.

Our favorite flavors were red bean, green tea, and cream. The snack was hot and fresh when we visited. Great shop for quick stop and purchase for snacks. There was big window to watch the snack making process from outside, which reminded me of US Krispy Kreme Doughnuts stores.Although this place attracted a lot of visitors on weekends and holidays, and offered quite a few in-store seatings, the restroom and the checkout line both seemed under capacity such that there was a long wait. Not sure how the store was during normal days. This was a snack-shopping store other than a restaurant, but the store attracted more traffic than the restaurants in the surrounds could.

I ate cheese one.It's very delicious like harajuku-dog(waffle).

The shop is located on the Itsukushima shrine end of the town center of Miyajima. They make their own momoji, a leaf shaped stuffed biscuit. The fillings are either cheese, cream or red bean for the fried ones but they also sell other flavours. Amazing snack food that is tasty and easy to eat. You have the option of takeaway (in a bag) or eat in (on a basket) with chairs lining the edge of the shop. They also offer free tea for customers.

You can purchase smoothly because you pay with a ticket machine.I bought custard cream, but the heat was delicious and the cream was delicious ♡Even if the maple bun is just delicious, you can fry it like a tempura and take a little time to make it even more delicious.

The deep fried sponge cake (red bean flavor) was good. Be careful it’s like boiling hot out of the dryer. 180 Yen per cake. Grab a ticket and hand it over and wait just a few minutes before goodness is in your hands.

We chose custard for rumored fried maple!But custard cream melts when hot ...That ’s why I recommend the anko system.Also, there was a vending machine in the alley that went a bit earlier

It's really intriguing as you can see the staff create the age-momiji manju with all the machinery at the back. This is a must try when going to Miyajima, the pastries with the red bean are super delicious, but I myself could not have enough of the cream paste especially when it's freshly cooked, it just populates your mouth and explodes your tastebuds with such a delicious flavour! You've also got to try their deep-fried pastries as well, the texture is formidable.

The age momiji is good. We tried the cream and anko. Very nice. They have free hot tea too.

The deep fried red bean pastry is very good. Oh my god. I thought it will be a tourist trap but NO. It’s legit. The red bean paste is smooth and the batter is light and fluffy. Thank God I tried.

Best snack food I’ve had in Japan! This is basically a maple shaped taiyaki that is fried with tempura batter!! Great snack to eat pre- and post- Mt. Misen hike. They also offer free hot tea!Each one is 180 Yen, very fairly priced, you pay at the vending machines first and then pick your flavor when you hand in the ticket. I love any thing cream so that was the best for me, but they also have cheese and sweet bean (red bean). Definitely check this place out!

I ate a limited amount of bean paste, but it was so delicious.The limited bean paste, chocolate, and rare cheese seemed to be recommended.It seems that rare cheese can be eaten even if it is not here. Even sparrows were entering the store 😁 cute 😍

I got fried maple. It was a good feeling that the cheese was sour and deep-fried, even though it didn't need to be fried. I think it is a little expensive to pay 190 yen.I think that it is good for a break because you can have tea and sit down, so it seems better to consider it as a place extra.Also, there is something like a momiji manju factory (belt conveyor), so I think it's fun to watch.

The fried maple bun was fluffy and crispy and delicious. I am also happy that there is a space where I can take a break.
